Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 24 July 2026
Welcome to TIVORA. The terms on this page govern how we sell to you, so please give them a read before checking out — placing an order tells us you accept them.
1About Us
TIVORA runs the online shop at tivora.com, bringing a selected range of home and garden products to customers across the United Kingdom and the European Union. In these terms "we" and "our" mean TIVORA, and "you" means the customer. Whatever version is published when you order is the one that governs that order.
2Key Terms
"Goods" are the products you buy; an "Order" is your checkout request; the "Contract" is the agreement created once we accept it; and the "Site" means tivora.com and its pages.
3Placing an Order
When you check out you are offering to buy the Goods. Our first email just confirms your Order has landed with us — it isn't acceptance yet. The Contract only becomes binding when we email to confirm your Goods have shipped. If we can't fulfil an Order, perhaps because stock has sold out or a price was clearly wrong, we'll tell you quickly and refund whatever you've paid.
4Prices & Payment
All prices show in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where it applies. We price carefully, but where an obvious mistake occurs we're not bound to supply at the wrong amount and will contact you first. Payment is taken at checkout through the secure options provided, and the Goods become yours once payment clears in full and delivery is made.
Delivery windows, carriers and charges are listed in full on our Shipping & Payment page, which forms part of these terms.
5Delivery
We aim to hit the estimated delivery windows at checkout, though they stay estimates rather than guarantees — carriers can slow over a bank holiday or other peak. Once the parcel is with you or someone at your address, responsibility passes to you. If no one's home, the courier usually leaves a card or tries again.
6Cancelling
As a consumer you may cancel and return your Goods within 14 days of receiving them, with no reason required. The full process and legal exceptions live on our Cancellation Policy & Returns page, and a ready model form on the Withdrawal & Cancellation Form page.
7Faulty or Wrong Goods
Your statutory rights sit alongside these terms and aren't reduced by them. If an item arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, contact us and we'll arrange a repair, replacement or refund. A quick photo or note usually speeds things along.
8Our Liability
We're liable for foreseeable loss or damage arising from our breach of these terms or our negligence. We aren't liable for unforeseeable or business losses, since our Goods are for private, domestic use. Nothing here excludes liability that can't lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
9Intellectual Property
The wording, images and design on the Site belong to us or our licensors and are legally protected. You may view and print pages for personal use, but not reuse any part commercially without our written consent.
10Your Data
Personal details you share are handled per our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, and the rights you hold.
11Beyond Our Control
We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control — severe weather, strikes, carrier disruption and similar. If one arises, we'll be in touch quickly and keep the impact to a minimum.
12Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you habitually live. Disputes may be brought before the competent courts.
13Contact
